I’m a northern girl, with a great love for the south.
Don’t call me a Yankee though… I prefer “Member of Red Sox Nation’ if you still feel the need for a label.
One of my favorite places is in my SUV on a warm summer’s day driving anywhere, as long as the windows are down and the music is up. I love roadtrips, but I’ll travel by plane and boat as well!
I’m a graduate student studying creative nonfiction in Fairfield University’s amazing MFA program. I’m also the Co-Editor of Creative Nonfiction for Mason’s Road, Fairfield’s Online literary Journal. We’re always looking for talented submissions, so check it out and show us what you’ve got.

I’m working on my second 101 in 1001 list and I love every second of it!
So far in the second challenge, I met a blogger friend in “real life,” went to a blogging conference, a writing conference and traveled on a train. My new 101 in 1001 website is undergoing a bit of construction, but don’t worry…I will have that sorted out soon.
In my first 101 in 1001 challenge, I met one of my favorite authors, started taking my vitamins every day and kissed a dolphin!
